Our Stepping Stones Story
Stepping Stones Child Care Centers adheres to a holistic approach of early childhood education. When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave our preschool, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Meet Stepping Stones Regional Director
Hello there, my name is Melissa Fornwalt and I am grateful for the opportunity to be the Regional Director for our Stepping Stones programs. I have my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Master's degree in Early Childhood Administration and Leadership and several years experience in leading childcare programs. My heart is to create environments where staff thrive and children are nurtured as they learn and grow in safe and fun ways.
In my time outside of the programs, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, being outside and going for walks or to state parks, and reading to continue to grow as a leader.
